Sustainable concrete renovation at the Atrio Villach shopping center

Renovation work is currently being carried out in the underground parking garage at the Atrio shopping center in Villach. This work is necessary due to years of exposure to temperature changes and de-icing salt on the building structure.

Due to the size of the underground car park and its ongoing operation, the renovation work will be carried out in various stages until the end of 2025. Similar to regular dental check-ups in humans, the timely refurbishment of structural components is also crucial in order to repair minor damage before it spreads. Timely detection and repair of concrete damage therefore makes both technical and economic sense.

In this project, OK ZT is responsible for the structural support and quality assurance of the concrete refurbishment. We are pleased to contribute our expertise for a sustainable “renovation with a sense of proportion”.
