Setting out for new energies: exciting construction site in Arriach

In the midst of preliminary planning, we have an exciting construction site ahead of us – Kelag is starting the new construction of the destroyed power plant control center in Arriach at its original location.

This project brings with it numerous challenges. The existing infrastructure of the municipal lines must be taken into account in the surrounding area, while the demolition and new construction of steel pressure lines pose major challenges for everyone involved.

OKZT has a dual responsibility here. On the one hand, we are responsible for the implementation planning and the supporting structure of the new powerhouse, and on the other, it is our responsibility to relocate the municipal water and wastewater systems.

This project is not only a technical challenge, but also an important step towards a sustainable energy supply for Arriach and the region.
