An important step for Krumpendorf: ground-breaking ceremony and start of construction of the new kindergarten

After an extensive phase of preparation and planning, the long-awaited go-ahead for the construction of the new kindergarten was given on March 4, 2024. The municipality of Krumpendorf am Wörthersee gathered numerous guests from the province of Carinthia as well as the planning team and contractors at the ground-breaking ceremony. Led by the mayor, the start of construction was heralded, accompanied by good wishes for the smooth and safe progress of the project.

The new, enlarged kindergarten, which will also house a daycare center in the future, is now being built at a central location in Krumpendorf. The project, which is based on a concrete-wood hybrid construction, is characterized not only by its appealing architecture, but also by its sustainable construction methods. Particularly noteworthy are the generous open spaces, which will offer the young users of the kindergarten plenty of room to play and discover.

Construction work is scheduled for completion by spring 2025. As usual, we will keep you up to date on the progress of the project and report on it regularly.
