Opening of OK.KunZT Season 4 – SOUTHBOUND
On March 21, the time had come – our latest exhibition series of the OK.KunZT series was opened as part of the Apero. Eagerly awaited, the fourth edition of the OKKunZT series with the promising title “SOUTHBOUND” took us on a fascinating journey to the South.
This exhibition presents the unique work of the artist duo Rojo & Kreß, which can be admired for the first time with a solo exhibition in Austria.
The works of Rojo & Kreß reveal an unconventional perspective on the topic of nutrition and its connection to pharmacology. In their abstract sculptures, superfruits become symbols that raise profound questions about the optimization of the human body and the manipulation of natural processes. With a skillful use of cylinders and other regular shapes reminiscent of polished resin, the artists impressively demonstrate the fusion of nature and technology.
The opening of the exhibition offered visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of superfruits and experience the complexity of Rojo & Kreß’s works. The spectrum of impressions and conversations ranged from the lively discussions about the importance of food supplements to the fascinating interpretations of the fruits depicted.
The exhibition not only offers an aesthetic experience, but also encourages reflection on topics such as globalization, health and the influence of modern medicine on our eating habits.
Anyone interested can experience the exhibition free of charge at our OK ZT headquarters until September 13.
