Project update: Marcher Meat Plants

Progress on the “Marcher Meat Plants” project

We are delighted to inform you once again about the current progress of our exciting project for Marcher Fleischwerke. We have already reported on the details and objectives of this ambitious project in an earlier article. Today we are providing a comprehensive update on the three construction phases that we are successfully driving forward together.

A look back at the construction phases:

Construction phase 1: In this phase, the focus was on expanding the production facilities. The shell construction work, including the façade structures and outdoor facilities, was successfully completed. This construction phase has now been completed and the new production areas have been occupied.

Construction phase 2: The construction of the new office building began at the same time as the first phase. Here, too, work proceeded according to plan, so that the shell construction work could be completed ahead of schedule. The office building has now been fully completed and put into operation.

Construction phase 3: In the third phase, the focus is on expanding the deep-freeze facilities and the cutting areas. In October 2023, the project was in a decisive construction phase: the supporting structure on the first floor was constructed together with the reinforced concrete roof beams above and the hollow core ceiling. The final completion work is currently underway. Particularly noteworthy is the comprehensive modernization of the old office building, which is not only visually enhanced by a new, curtain wall façade construction, but also functionally optimized.

A look into the future

We are delighted to be working with Marcher Fleischwerke on a building project that combines innovation, efficiency and aesthetics. The progress made so far confirms that we are on the right track and we look forward to successfully completing the project in the near future.
